Am I the only one? Seriously, am I the only one (in the US) who hasn't spoiled themselves yet? I go through my f-list several times a day looking for new chapters to ongoing stories....but everyone seems stuck on 4x13. Do. not. want. yet.

1. You have fifty dollars in your pocket...what do you do with it? Spend it on books.

2. What is your most guilty pleasure? Reading Who-fanfic...especially smut! And enjoying sushi whenever I can...

3. Have you ever seen someone die? No, but I have walked into a house and found a dead person.

4. Are you confused as to what lies ahead of you? No, not really...but I hope it's good! ;)

5. What was the last movie you saw, for pleasure, and would you recommend it? I took my daughter to see The Water Horse during Christmas break, and we both enjoyed it.

7. What is your favorite season or time of year? I like summer, when it's warm enough to have the windows open, but not so hot as to need the A/C on...

8. If a person you secretly like is already attached, what would you do? Run away, and don't look back...

9. Is there anything that has made you unhappy recently? Yes, being sick so much, while not knowing what it really is...

I haven't been here very long at all...and already I've been tagged...twice! What a wonderful community! Anyways, this happened yesterday...however, due to time constraints, I wasn't able to post my list yesterday. The people who "make my day" in no particular order, are....

1---dameruth She pointed me to Teaspoon after talking with her at the Sci-Fi Doctor Who forum...and my fan-fic obsession was born! And how could I forget...Bliss!!

2---lostwolfchats She writes the most beautiful stories...lots of missing scenes, and possible outcomes.

3---solarflar3 She was one who tagged me, another excellent writer and was so kind as to credit me for giving her information about ice storms.

4---fid_gin The other person who tagged me...I apparently surprised her by sending a message! Oh, and she writes yummy, smutty Nine!

5---amberfocus Another of my favorite authors...she has the ability to juggle several stories at once, and keep them all moving along nicely.

6---jlrpuck The Way of Things...need I say more?

7---lillibetm3 So much smut, so little time to read them all...and Strange Magicks!

8---rabid1st Disheveled...a truly amazing story!

So here I am again...my time of the day...kids in bed and asleep.

Anywho, the word finally came down that Doctor Who will be on Sci-Fi in April! *does happy dance* This is a good 3 months earlier than usual...about damn time! Of course this means that we'll run into the "Doctor Lite" year just that much sooner, but we'll cross that bridge later...right?

I am greatly anticipating the start of the NASCAR season...the Bud Shoot-out is this Saturday night, and the Daytona 500 is on the 17th! Whoo-hoo! Go Jeff Gordon...Drive for Five!

Also looking forward to the new season of Survivor starting on Thursday...some seasons have been better than others, but I haven't missed one yet! Not too sure about this new one..."Fans vs. Favorites". Who picked these favorites? Johnny Fairplay?! Cerie? Come on! >:(

And here's a grumble that some may find amusing...where's our snow? I live in Western New York, land of lake-effect snow...and we hardly have any!  I can't take my kids sledding! We get a couple of inches, then it melts the next day. We get sleet, and ice, and last night had a thunderstorm! In February! So if anyone has, say an extra foot of snow to spare....send it this way!

So...the Giants won the Superbowl. A very good game...but even better ads. Hubby and I laughed our butts off at some of them...Pepsi had some great ones...we are rather partial to them, as that's who hubby works for... :-) My favorite was the Budweiser "Clydesdale in Training" ad. Too cute!

Well, I guess that's about it for now....

Welcome to my newest hangout! This should be interesting for me, as I've never done anything like this before....the most I've done is post in forums and message boards!
I enjoy reading fan-fiction...especially of the Doctor Who variety...so I'm sure I'll be checking out some of those communities.
I'm not terribly computer savvy, so it might take awhile for me to get pics and icons, etc....
